East Gwillimbury Gardeners

The Millennium Garden, at the corner of King Street and Mount Albert Road, was created in 2000 to celebrate the new Millennium. It is designed in the shape of a rising sun and is a haven for pollinators.  East Gwillimbury Gardeners care for the garden; our junior gardeners plant the central raised bed. Grade 3 students from Robert Munsch Public School plant one of the sun ray flower beds each year. Look for the “bee condo” which provides nesting habitat for solitary bees.
