If your child is between the ages of 6 & 16 they can participate. Learn about gardening and the environment. Create and grow fun projects. The cost is only $5.00 per child for 5 evenings of gardening fun! e-mail us at eggardeners@gmail.com to register.
2024 Junior Gardeners' Program
1. Date/ Time: Tuesday April 2, 6:30- 7:30 pm
Location: Mount Albert Community Centre
Activity: Creating and planting Zen Garden planters

2. Date/ Time: Tuesday May 7 , 6:30- 7:30 pm
Location: Mount Albert Community Centre
Activity: Making paper pots, planting seeds and creating clay ornaments and cards with dried flowers

3. Date/ Time: Tuesday June 4, 6:30- 7:30 pm
Location: Mount Albert Public gardens and Mount Albert Community Centre
Activity: We will be planting annuals in the public gardens and making nature journals

4. Date/ Time: September 17 6:00 -7:00 pm ( note date change to the third Tuesday of the month and ½ hour earlier start time)
Location: Mount Albert Community Centre on the same night as the Adult meeting:
Activity: Entering flower shows! Learn how to make a floral design and enter it
into the flower show. Also enter flowers and vegetables you have grown.

Location: Mount Albert Community Centre
Activity: We will create fairy homes out of pumpkins
